Annual Awards Dinner

Get ready to swap your trainers for your dancing shoes, the Annual Awards Dinner will be held on Saturday, 11 November at The Aubrey Park Hotel. A coach has been organised to and from the venue from central St Albans. To book your space click here.

As well as eating , drinking and dancing, the night is all about celebrating our achievements over the last year and awards will be given out in the following categories:

• Strider of the Year (more for overall contribution to the club than performance)
• Male Athlete of the Year (for consistently high performance and someone who sets a strong example)
• Female Athlete of the Year (for consistently high performance and someone who sets a strong example)
• Most Improved Male Strider
• Most Improved Female Strider
• Volunteer of the Year
• Hall of Fame (Lifetime Recognition Award)

Please send any nominations, along with a brief explanation regarding your decision to: secretary@stalbanstriders.com by Friday, 13 October. Once the nominations are in, the committee then vote for the winners, who will be revealed at the dinner. The club champs winners will also be revealed on the night, and we'll give out our London Marathon places via the ballot.
