Herts XC County Championships - Fairlands Valley, Stevenage

You must have been born in Herts or have been a resident in the county for at least nine months prior to the race to compete. On the day, collect your number from captains.

Race Start Times:

12.30pm - SENIOR WOMEN 8000m (4 to score in teams)

1.15pm - SENIOR MEN 12000m (6 to score in teams)

RACE HQ

Race HQ is at the Sailing Centre, Costello's Cafe.

Be aware that it is a long walk between the start and finish area and the Sailing Centre.

There are no changing/shower facilities - come ready to run.

Toilets at Sailing Centre behing the cafe. There will also be some portable toilets.

CAR PARKING

Southern end of the valley opposite the football ground. Off Broadhall Way A602.

RULES

No competitor may be entered in more than one County's championships - qualification is by birth or residence (UKA Rule 9 (2) applies). Only HCAAA affiliated clubs and schools will be eligible for team medals.

NUMBERS

Numbers to be collected from club captains.

MEDALS

Medals will be awarded to the first 3 individuals in each age group and to the first 3 teams eligible in each age group.

COUNTY TEAMS

County Team Managers will be handing out letters to selected athletes for possible inclusion in the County's teams at the CAU meeting at Prestwold Hall, Loughborough on March 7th 2020 - the first twelve finishers in all races (except the under 11s) should contact County Team Managers immediately after their race and return their letters
