League Details

The Mid Week Road Race League (MWRRL) is run over 5 events of about 5 -6 miles in distance. Each of the 5 clubs involved hosts one of the races, giving you the chance to travel around the county and meet / race other local clubs. It's great fun (and quite serious too!), really the key is in getting good numbers from your club to all the races.

All races are free to enter, just turn up in your striders kit and you'll be given a number (which you then keep for all remaining races). The races start at 19:45, the top twelve men and top six women score. However other placings further down improve our standing, so every runner count and we need as many people as possible to turn up. Please use the message board to arrange car shares and lifts to the fixtures, so we can do our bit for the environment. The host club provides refreshments for the participants, after the race.

At the end of the league season there is a (friendly) mob match at Trent Park, when the trophies are presented.
