Hope you saved the date for this Sunday (25th) for Sallys Farewell at the Peahen. It's also the Sandy 10 and Gade Valley 20, so there will be lots of racing chat to catch up on too (as if we talk about anything else!!!!)
The Peahen from 6.30 onwards (14 London Road, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL1 1NQ)
There will be a buffet and I have made sure that vegans are catered for too (the buffet menu is on their website if you are interested) It would be great to see lots of you out to wish Sally and Chris well as they leave St Albans for a new life in France.

Post Sandy 10 Drinks 25/03

We will be having a post-Sandy 10 drinks evening on Sunday, 25th March but also to say au revoir to Sally (our Chair) who will be leaving us very shortly to move to France.
Further details to come but drinks will be at a St Albans pub from appx 6:30/7pm - so please mark your diaries.
Olympic Pub Quiz

Sunday April 1st at 7pm, there will be an Olympic themed pub quiz at the Queens Head, in Sandridge, AL4 9DL.
The format will be the same as the last quiz with 6 or 7 rounds and food at the interval. A donation of just £1 will be required for the Striders 2012 charity and there will be prizes for the first 3 winning teams.
Teams of four will be required and the pub can accommodate up to 10 teams.
End of XC Social

The Cross Country season is coming to and end, so to celebrate a record turnout of Striders at all of the leagues and some brilliant racing, we are having a social on Saturday 25th February (the day of Parliament Hill)
The social will be from 7pm onwards at The Goat. 37 Sopwell Lane, St Albans. We have the games room booked out for the night and a light buffet, so come along and catch up with the gang.

Sunday Drinks @ The Snug

On Sunday we have one of the first club champs races of the year in Watford. We have lots of Striders running so we've organised drinks on the Sunday night at The Snug, 1 French Row, St Albans from 6.30 onwards.
As always everyone welcome if you run the race or not!
